When unprecedented disaster, Great East Japan Earthquake happened on March 11th, 2011, not only the damage from Tsunami but also disaster of the nuclear power plant had made more than three hundred fifty thousand people to take refuge in all over Japan.
Since April 2011, a month after the disaster, We have been supporting refugees physically and socially for those who were forced to move out from their hometown to metropolitan areas around Tokyo. Unfortunately, problems of refugees cannot be easily visualized. Therefore, more time and more understandings from people who support refugeees are necessary to find a way out. We, as a Nonprofit Organization which complement support measures from the administration, have worked very hard to stay closer to each refugees with care.
Regarding the business, we have recorded the knows-hows, intangible assignments and correspondences of refugees support as a non-govenrment organization, which goal is to "recover people themselves". We will use such records to prevent any disasters that are possibly to occur in the future and share them to the educational organizations and other supporting groups with appreciatons to many support from overseas as well.
We will look back at the trail where we stayed together with the refugees who were forced to moveout from their hometown to metropolitan areas. Also we would like to share the informantion through the interviews of professionals from many fields who has been supportive to out activities, to acquire knowlege and to prepare for any disasters that may occur in the future.
